Networking in…with Rick Mower

After a three-week break, we finally had another Networking-in session on Wednesday.

Hearing about Rick Mower’s approach to bringing social and environmental value to the workplace was fantastic.

Consumers, brands, and institutions want their products and services to do more for people and the planet.

This should be enough motivation to aim to be exceptional.

“When someone tells you it can’t be done, it’s more a reflection of their limitations, not yours.”

Rick shared his main principle in embedding social value: Everyone can be exceptional, no matter their life path.

He also talked about leveraging your social value USP:
1. Outcompete your competitors by building social value into your products and services.
2. Empower your clients to confidently make procurement and purchasing choices that drive quantitative, social, and environmental value.
