Networking in…with Natalie King-Barnard
On Wednesday at Networking-in, we had a Green Machine Takeover!
As Peter and Sarah were off enjoying the magnificent beauty in Egypt, Natalie King Barnard generously talked to us about ‘Disrupting the life cycle of IT equipment.’
The session was really insightful!
If you send one less thank you email per day you can save up to 16,400 tonnes of C02 every year.
The best thing we can do for our planet is renew and prolong the life of our tech. If we eliminate the need for a new product to be made, we reduce the strain on the environment.
Plus, it saves a lot of money!
Natalie shared ways of reducing your daily impact:
1. Refrain from using a screensaver
2. Turn off your device when it’s not in use
3. Clear your email history
4. Reduce your file sizes
5. Delete cookies and browser history
A huge thank you to everyone who came along! It was an absolute pleasure having you with us!
What a session! Big thanks to everyone who showed up and brought with beautiful energy. We’ve got lost of great speakers coming up this year! Check them out and reserve your spot here.
