Networking in…Turns Six with Peter Mols
Wow, what an incredible time we had at Wednesday’s Networking-in event celebrating our 6th birthday!
Time flies when you’re having a blast, and it’s been one hell of a ride at Networking-in! Throughout the years, we’ve brought together a fantastic group of ‘good-egg business owners’ and played a part in forging some awesome business connections that have stood the test of time.
If you’ve been with us since day one, you’ve witnessed the rollercoaster of growth and changes we’ve experienced. Countless laughs, victories, and even a couple of special awards – it’s been a heck of a ride. Now, with 500 clients in total, 2 shiny awards, 4 team members, and enough goosebumps to last a lifetime (1,000,000 to be exact), we had a super special session!
We seriously can’t stop talking about it. It was one and a half hours packed with pure enjoyment, learning, and laughter!
And can you believe it’s been 6 years since Networking-in started? To mark the occasion, we went all out with party hats and a talk from the one and only Peter Mols!
People go networking for so many different reasons, and Pete got us thinking about that. Some want friendships and relationships while others want to make money.
The top tips shared by Pete were:
1. Have a goal. What do you want to achieve?
2. Perfect your pitch
3. Remember the 7/11/4 method – To sell, your client needs to consume your content for 7 hours through 11 different interactions in 4 separate locations.
4. KLT – People buy from people who they know like and trust.
5. Research the regulars
6. Gain before you receive
7. The fortune is in the follow up
It was such a fantastic session, with lots of abbreviations like Rrrrr (Research, Relate, Reach out, Reveal and Repeat) for people to get to know you.
