With over a decade of hands-on experience, I’ve spearheaded transformative initiatives aimed at revolutionising the care landscape for vulnerable children in Western Kenya. From establishing professional teams skilled in family tracing to orchestrating reunification programmes, I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact of creating safe havens for displaced children within nurturing family environments.
But my leadership journey doesn’t stop there. I’ve navigated organisations through turbulent storms and significant transitions, including guiding the Kenyan Children’s Project’s evolution into Safe International. This journey involved not only adopting better governance, partnership practices, and ethical standards but also embracing more sustainable care practices. Throughout these changes, my unwavering dedication to prioritising the well-being of children has remained steadfast.
My expertise lies in strategic development, NGO and charity management, safeguarding enhancements, and governance advocacy. I specialise in implementing innovative practices that not only enhance organisational effectiveness but also uphold integrity.
Fuelled by the belief that every child deserves a nurturing environment, I’m deeply committed to protecting children, nurturing trauma recovery, and championing good governance. For me, it’s about creating enduring change that positively impacts generations to come.
