I’m a natural people person and love networking and getting to know others, then finding ways to help or connect them with others!
Originally hailing from Reading and I worked in Media Monitoring and Software across the Thames Valley before moving into the charity sector.
In my spare time(!) I run Cheylesmore Food Hub, a social supermarket providing affordable food bags to the local community where I live in Coventry, and I volunteer with Oxfam at festivals across the UK.
I’m a Fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities based at the 62-bedroom House in Oxford which provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation for families with a child in hospital.
Our fantastic new Ronald McDonald House Oxford opened during lockdown in 2020 and we’re proud that we’ve stayed open providing parents and families with somewhere to stay, as close as possible to their sick child.
At RMHC UK, we believe that sick children need their families close, we work with our NHS hospital partners to give families a place to stay, moments away from their child’s ward.
My focus is working with businesses across the region and supporting them in their fundraising, whether that is a Charity of the Year partnership or through adhoc events for the team to get involved in.
