On Wednesday, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting Placi Espejo, a TEDx Speaker, Mental Health Champion, Coach and mentor.
She came along to tell us about how to embrace our mental health, loud and clear. She shared some shocking statistics: Between 2019 and 2020, people in the UK lost 32.6 million work days because of mental health.’
Placi talked to us about the importance of checking in with yourself, and asking yourself several times a day this important question – How are you?
This allows you to address your current state and tend to yourself based on the answer.
She also took us through mental health tools that apply to all:

3. Silence that nasty inner voice
4. Learn the signs
5. Embrace your emotions
6. Let others in
