Welcome to Networking in…with Emma Easton.
Emma, The Chief Bolloxologist™, is the founder of Business Bollox™. After a varied and award-winning career, Emma now supports SMEs to de-bolloxise their businesses. Respected in her field, Emma is regularly asked to ‘develop’ the business/marketing strategy for marketing and creative agencies, and also is a frequent guest lecturer at multiple Business Schools.
Can you categorically explain why you’re using certain means for your marketing? If you can’t, the harsh reality is that the strategic part of your marketing is lacking.
Most founders want to jump into the tactics. We just want to get the campaign running, without thinking about it. Truth is, we might as well be putting our money in the bin. You need to stop bolloxing up your marketing.
In most other aspects of business, we do the thinking before the doing. But for some reason when it comes to marketing, we tend to do the opposite – we do the doing without the thinking.
In this session, Emma will be telling us why we need to introduce thinking so that the time and money that we spend on our marketing is better used.
“Imagine how much stronger your marketing efforts will be if you’re being real laser focussed.”

If you can relate to any of the above, this session is for you.
South & Vale Business Support provide businesses across South Oxfordshire and Vale of the White Horse with free and impartial support, advice and up to date business information. Not in that area – they’re also fantastic for sign posting support in other regions.
What works for one person can sometimes be a complete turn-off for another. We looked around at all the other groups, took the best bits; and did it our way.
We believe that the best networking groups are diverse in age, sex, race and religion. We also believe that people buy from people; we don’t exclude or have caps / exclusivity within a sector. If you want to win business in our rooms; you’ll win it because of who you are, what you do, and how you do it; rather than you being the only option. In our groups, you’ll have ample opportunity to tell your story, listen to everyone else’s, and then have the time to make all the connections you want.
