We are delighted to invite you to this free event to learn more about the B Corp Movement, meet local B corps and network with like-minded people from businesses, which recognise the opportunities and responsibilities of using business as a Force for Good.
A group of certified B Corps and B Leaders, trained to support businesses to become B Corps, have come together to form B Local Oxfordshire+, a new business group for Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley. It aims to provide peer-to-peer support , share best practice and promote the growth of B Corps in the region.
B Corps are businesses that strive to be a force for good; meeting the highest environmental and social standards and committing to consider the needs of all stakeholders in their business decisions. With changing, and increasing expectations of business, from consumers, employees, suppliers and investors, it’s no surprise that we’ve seen an explosion in the number of businesses interested in certifying as B Corps.
Join us to hear from local B Corps about why they have certified and what it means to their business, people, customers and other stakeholders. Learn about the process and also hear from our sponsor, Oxford City Council on why and how B Corps are important to our local economy.
We are grateful to Oxford City Council for sponsoring this event by providing this prestigious venue along with light refreshments.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible 23rd March. Registration is essential
